A New Cub

Sorry about Kovu and Kiara's Discoloration, I couldn't get either of their colors just right...

Here's The Story~

After Nala and the other lionesses returned from their hunting trip, Simba was the first to notice the tiny cub Nala carried in her jaws. "What's this, Nala?" He asked curious.
"Nala found the cub while the rest of us hunted." One the lionesses told her King as Nala continued to climb Priderock and into the cave where all the lions and lionesses slept. Inside there were a few lions and lionesses lounging about, but two stood out the most. "Kovu." Nala called to her Son-In-Law. Curious as to what Nala wanted, Kovu left his slumbering mate. As he neared he noticed the tiny cub, now rested between Nala's big paws. "We found her on the hunt. There was no milk-scent near, her mother abandoned her." Nala stated sadly, looking down at the orphaned cub. "Did you wish us to care for her, Mother?" Kiara's voice asked. Kovu and Nala both looked up to see Nala's beautiful daughter padding up to them. She laid down not far away and looked at her mate and mother. The cub quickly stumbled toward Kiara, Kovu was amazed, "She thinks you're her mother, Kiara." he stated. "No, she smells Kiara's milk." Nala corrected sadly. Kiara nodded and picked the cub up. She quickly returned to her nest and laid the tiny cub at the curve of her belly. "Now that my own cub has died I'll have plenty of milk to feed her." Kiara whispered, nosing the cub closer to her. "Kovu, if you don't want to bring her up, you don't have to, but I intend to." Kiara announced. Kovu also returned to his mates side and nuzzled her. "Why would I not want to raise her, Kiara?" he said as Kiara moved the cub to her front paws, where she and Kovu studied her over, with joyful eyes.
